Hello all,
Unfortunately, despite our best intentions, life happens and I wasn’t able to post anything for the past couple of weeks ~ probably not the best way to start a blog…. I think I’m back in the swing now and today I’m answering the Operation Write Home (OWH) challenge to post an Any Hero card. You can learn about Any Hero cards here. I am reasonably computer savvy and enjoy using digital images as well as stamps in my card making.
This card is super simple – a white card base, one blue and one red layer, and then the digital image. I’ll be writing a note of thanks and gratitude in this card before I send it in the next shipment to Operation Write Home. I hope it will bring a smile to the heart of whoever gets the card and that they will know how much their service is appreciated.
Thanks for stopping by ~ I hope you have a terrific day!
Gail
What a gorgeous, meaningful and awesome image! I love this card, and so will the hero who receives it!
Thank you Carol – I hope it shows the person who receives it that we do understand how much we appreciate what they are doing to protect us and the freedoms we enjoy.
This looks super! Love your multiple mats, they really give it a polished look!
Thank you Jen! I do like to use mats and am very pleased with how this card turned out!
Wow, fantastic card! Love the matting. The digital image is so strong and speaks for itself, protecting the very symbols of America! TFS!
Thank you Cheryl. I was so glad to find the image and agree that it is a strong image that symbolizes what the troops are fighting for!
THis is so stunningly gorgeous- great image! Your layers help set of the image. Great job and look forward to seeing more of your cards.
Thank you Diane!
